Dear helper,
Please help me.I have hard nuts to crack.
I have learnt some phrases as follows:
1)a mass of / masses of
2)a large quantity of / large quantities of
3)a variety of / varieties of
both phrases in each group seem to have the same meaning to me,but I wonder if there is any difference between them,say, in the nouns they modify or in their agreement with the main verb.It would be a good idea for you to show me some examples.
Your timely help will be greatly appreciated.
