Hello everyone.

Sentence #1 below is from a grammar book at hand.
1. It would have been at that tome that he went to live in Wisconsin.

If Sentence #1 were as follows, would it (Sentence #2) be grammatically correct and make sense?
2. It will have been at that tome that he went to live in Wisconsin.

Best regards,
Fw

Hi fw,

I would edit the sentence slightly for brevity.

1) It would have been at that time that he lived in Wisconsin.
It is conjectured, that at that time, he lived in Wisconsin.

2) It will have been at that time that he lived in Wisconsin.
It is almost certain, that at that time, he lived in Wisconsin.
