Hi again....!!!!!!!

Testing is a common thing in a classroom. It is important because it determines the students learning achievements and it enables a teacher to see at a glance how the students are progressing. The question that I wanted to ask is are tests designed to help students to learn or to provide evidence of learning????Can tests in fact have a negative effect on learning??

Regards.

I think the true value of testing is to show the teacher how well they have taught the material and where they need to make improvements to better help their students. :) What do you think? Philo

Hi Philo......!!!!!!!

I think you are right!!!!.......Testing is a kind of evaluation that most of the teachers are use in order to evaluate their students.Apart from that, teachers themselves can analyze how far their teaching methods have given benefits to their students. This can be seen through the students achievement.....am I right????
