Hello Andrea 21,
I'm pinkcappucino or u may refer to me as Dhaya. I'm an English Language Studies student at a Malaysian university. I recently finished an assignment on the animated cartoon of Walt Disney, 'Beauty & the Beast.' I enjoyed watching it as well as analysing it according to my personal interpretation. I wish to share with you an interesting example of an analysis by someone on this cartoon since you are a fan of Disney's animated movies (I hope cartoons as well).
Well, according to this person, Beauty in this cartoon has Oedipal Complex towards her father. This is her reason for rejecting Gaston's marriage proposal. I'm sure you are familiar with the Oedipus Complex idea from the Psyhoanalysis theory by Freud. In other words, Beauty has sexual desires towards her father and choses to remain with her father until the Beast comes along.
So, what do you think of this interpretation?Do reply. I'm looking forward to hearing from you on your view.Thank you.

Hello, I'm Bruna and I'm from Brazil!
I love the Disney animated films! My favorites movies are Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo and Lilo and Stich.
I loved the news that Walt Disney Pictures buy Pixar Animation Studios!! This union will create fantastic films of digital animation.
The adults if interest more for this type of films because the infantile movies are intelligent and creative!
It isn't children's movie! It's a everyone movie!
I'm waiting a news of Walt Disney Pictures!!
Bye! |

Can you believe that i'm a fan of Monsters Inc.?
Movies and animations of Walt Disney Pictures or Pixar Animation Studios, it vitiates everyone who watches it.
it does not matter the age, and I'm a evidence of it!
