Institute as a noun means an organization meant to promote a cause; As a verb, it means to begin or start something.
Institution is an organization that is mainly involved with public service and also, customs, such as marriage.
There is a small difference between those words and organization, but you can substitute "organization" for "institution", but usually not vice versa. |
