hi friends? how are you? as a student, summary writing plays an important role in my academic writing skills. I am writing summary since in school days until today at the teritary level. Summary writing is under time pressure. Rhetoric modes is used to make the summary interesting to the readers to read it. Methods to write a good piece of summary writing : students should read the given text carefully by the respective instructor in pre reading activity. then, they should read to get the main ideas of the text. While reading they should highlight the points. Use own words to write down the summary without following the original text.Ommit the examples in the text. Your summary should be shorter than your original text. Students understanding of the text is very important to produce a good piece of summary. Students should be able to paraphrase the elaboration from the original text. Do you got any other way to write summary? Any specific methods? I hope you will exchange the information with me.tq.
