what are the techniques that we can use to teach vocabulary to kids?

hai praba, i think vocabulary is very important part in learning a second language. I think using game like activity is the best way to teach vocabulary to kids because in this early stage they are more interested in games rather than text based activity.flash card could be on of the best way to teach vocabulary to kids.

Well, let me suggest you some techniques on vocabulary teaching:-

First of all you should identify what will attract the kids. Here is some techniques wich may attract kids in order to learn new words.

1) use pictures or othe visual aids to explain the meaning of new words.

2) You also can use language games regarding learning the meaning of
words

3) You can use translation methods. Meaning translate the meaning of
new words in their mother tongue

I think these techniques may give you a clear picture of how to deal with vocabulary teaching especially for children.
