Hello Language wiz;
What is the difference in meaning between admonition and warning?
Can they be replaced with each other in all cases? |

.
Admonition is more commonly used in its first meaning (mild, kind, yet earnest reproof); used in the meaning of warning of imminent danger, it is therefore rather formal.
