please help me check my grammar

Many people think the language is only one kind of communicable tool, but we should not neglect it because its power may affect us to live on each detail. Recently, there are a lot of people like to immigrate to other countries, yet the language becomes their first barrier. Because the language is different, they always get trouble in their real life. Thus, the language is power that affects the social life, freedom, and occupation.

thanks

*"communicable" means "able to be shared or transmitted," and is a word mainly used with diseases or infections

That's what I would change. If you have any questions about why I changed anything, feel free to post them here.
