If you had a time machine, where would you go and what would you do? Who would you talk to?

What a wonderful question!

There are many answers I might choose, but I think first I would go back in time to see my parents and grandparents when they were young. Leaving them would be sad because all but my mother have died, but I would still like to see them and learn what their lives were like.

I'd also like to go back one hundred years to see the town where I live and meet the people who lived in my house then. Life was so different at that time and I often wonder what it would have been like to be a member of the family who lived in my house. It was the first house built on this street in 1901. People dressed quite differently at that time and their daily lives were vastly different than our lives are now.

I don't know if it would make a difference or not, but I'd like to go back to various times in my life to give myself some advice based on everything I've learned since then! Wink

Traveling ahead in time would require a good deal of courage because I might find out some things I'd rather not know. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to resist though.

This is a fun question. I hope many students and teachers will post their answers. Perhaps we can also post it in the opinions forum to encourage more students to participate. The travel forum might be good place too. Smile
