it was mentioned regarding to some one who has some relationship with some non-profit organization.
I got 2 explainations. one is it refers to someone who are interested in the activities or would like to participate the work in the organziation. another one is it refers to someone who are contracted to the orgnaziton. i do not understand what that means.
could you please help me?

Comments:

Regarding organizations, I've most often heard (and seen) stakeholder used to refer to someone who is involved in the work of an organization--as an employee, stockholder, manager, or customer. In the college where I work, for example, we have regular stakeholders' meetings for ESL classes: administrators and teachers normally attend, but ESL students are also welcome because input from all of these different types of stakeholders is needed to make the ESL program run smoothly.
