Hi Kisliu,
I think what you want to say is this:
He had faced lots of pain and racism during his life.
A more formal way to say this would be:
He had endured a great deal of pain and racism during his life.
If this is not the meaning you're looking for, give me some more information and I'll do my best to help you.
