How can I change my computer equipments? My computer is a note book PC. That is ASUS M2. The CUP is P-M 1.5 Ghz, the RAM is 256 DDR333*2, the harddisk is 30GB 4200rpm, ATI RADRON 9000 64M. I use this notebook to play <WOW>, sometimes it was alittle problem. Even I can not move.
Yes, this notebook is alittle old but I dou not to change a new one. I want to change the equipment to let the notebook run faster. I want to change the RAM to 256+1024MB and the harddisk 60G 5400rpm. How do you think about this?
Can you give me some advices?

Changing the parts in a notebook is very difficult to do yourself AND it's expensive. For that price, you could probably buy a good desktop on which you will have no problems playing World of Warcraft. I prefer desktops because they are easier to upgrade by yourself. Also, for the price of a mid-range notebook, you could buy a really good desktop.

My advice is get a desktop... it might be just a little bit more expensive than upgrading a notebook.

notebook computer----sounds like Chinese-English. I guess it should be laptop.

My friends always get amused by my Chinese english too. I once told a friend by MSN: "hold on! I am killing all viruses from my computer!" He just couldn't help laughing! and he said:"what? you are killing viruses? haha! maybe with a knife or a sword!! oh, I know actually you meant remove viruses". Laughing

Well, "notebook computer" isn't usually used, but just "notebook" is fine. Some people say "notebook" while others say "laptop". They're both good. Smile
