I'd like to know if the following sentences are correct?
1)The new lamps are a beautiful complement to the living room.
2)She is a beautiful complement to me.
Thanks. |

.
Complement means simply something added to complete or make perfect, without regard to its materiality or immateriality, so-- yes, you can say:
The new lamps are a beautiful complement to the living room.
She is a beautiful complement to me.
But it would be better semantically if you specified: Her personality/wardrobe/work schedule is a beautiful complement to mine.
