Dear teachers,

Would please correct my answers?

Fill in the blanks with four different quantifiers (do not use a lof of).

As "It was a cold, misty afternoon"...
1. there wasn't ... traffic in the streets. much 2. they didn't meet ... other people. plenty of (?)
3. they didn't see ... policemen. many
4. there was very ... noise. little

Are there other possibilities?

Here's what I would have said:

1. there wasn't ... traffic in the streets. much
2. they didn't meet ... other people. many
3. they didn't see ... policemen. many/any
4. there was very ... noise. little

You only missed one and I saw two answers for number 3.
