Holla!
Is there any difference in meaning between these two sentences?
1. I am AT school right now.
2. I am IN school right now.
Thanks for answering |
They're very similar terms. But I think of "in" school as actually being in class, while "at" school can be more general (having lunch, using the library, walking around campus, or participating in non-classroom activities, for instance). "At" school also is fine for saying that someone is in class, but "in" school seems to mean this specifically.
Other people may see this differently. |
