Which of the two in the parentheses is correct in the following sentence?
( I think "2 Not a few" is right because "1 Only a few" does not match "even" which is just before "mentioned." Am I wrong?)

---- the following -----

Even though a photographer had captured the momentous moment when the airplane first left the ground, the Wrights' first flight received little attention. (1 Only a few / 2 Not a few) newspapers even mentioned it.

It would be 'only a few' in this case. If it were to be 'not a few' it could have been 'not even a few newspapers mentioned it'.

"Not a few newspapers (even) mentioned the event" = "More than a few newspapers mentioned the event" --because "not a few" implies the opposite of "few" (many), "not a few" does not give the correct meaning for the sentence. In general, "not a few" is not a common expression.

(Also, it's more natural to use "related to," as in "a question related to "even")
