The dog's name is Luke, and Mary likes him so much that every time she stays at the Annapolis Hotel, she makes it a *point* to see him.
What does it mean here?

Mary likes Luke so much that she believes it's important to see him whenever she stays at the Annapolis Hotel. She has made seeing him a regular part of all her visits to the Annapolis Hotel. |
