broker=commercial agent: somebody who is paid to act as an agent for others, e.g. in negotiating contracts or buying and selling goods and services
What about the kind of broker that help people sell their houses and make some(more than just some) commission out of it?
an *housing broker*?

The more common term for that kind of person would be a "real estate agent."
If I may say something in general, missdaredevil: I enjoy seeing these types of questions and answering the ones that I can. I imagine some of the other people on this forum feel the same way. However, it might be better for everyone if you combined several questions into one post. I'm just looking at the first page right now, and it seems that almost 40 out 70 topics were started by you. While it's not bad to ask questions, making a separate post for every question means that other people's posts will be pushed farther down and become less visible. |

When I bought a flat in London, I went to a mortgage broker.
And I agree with Lucentshade - better to combine 5 or 6 questions in one post.
I also like answering these questions if I can.
