if us and coalition troops left Iraq, there is a high probability that country would fall into civil war. Iraq is madeup of three distinct ethnic groups;Kurds in the north, sunni muslims in the center and shiitein the south. this strange national make up can be blamed each other. |

What would happen if U.S and coalition forces left Iraq?
I am not sure what would happen in Iraq if U.S and coaliton troops left Iraq, but I'm very sure that the U.S.troops will stay in Iraq as long as Iraq needs them.
If U.S.and coalitition forces leave Iraq before Iraq troops are built up well,it is possible that Iraq will become vulnerable to the insurgents and maybe Iraq will have civil war,but that is just "maybe".
When Iraqis troops become strong enough ,coalition forces will gradually reduce their number and withdraw to their home from Iraq, they will get their honors which they should deserve.
By reviewing the history, after Wrold War Two the U.S. occupied western Germany and Japan,U.S. pushed these two countries performing democracy, before long the two countries became world economy powers and their people enjoy freedom and democracy.History has proved that U.S is very responsible country which other countries can rely on.
Through the history,I think the U.S can not leave Iraq before Iraq people have become strong enough to defend themselves. As Gorege W Bush the president of the United States has said:"when Iraq stands up,we will stand down."
Thanks America for your sacrifices to the democratic world.Your sacrifices will not be in vain.God blesses America! |

Yes, I agree that Iraq will fall into civil wars and the toughest guy no better than Sadam will win.
And Americans will lose all their credibility. |

Chicago - You'll have to explain this stuff about the Roman Empire. The Romans never conquered the whole Middle East (or even Europe!), nor did the Crusaders for that matter. When people refer back to events that happened hundreds of years ago, they do it only to stir up passions rather than taking the time to look at the situation as it really is. The argument that America is invading Iraq for oil doesn't make sense. Why hasn't America invaded Canada? Britain? Venezuela? Gabon? Saddam Hussein attacked his neighbours and murdered his own people. Why aren't you glad that he has been deposed? I urge you to go to the Al Jazeera website and check out some of the things that Bin Laden and his cronies say. they want to kill every single person in the world who does not agree with their fundamental and extreme philosophy. Bin Laden has actually said that nearly all Muslims must die! All none Muslims must die, in his opinion. The Americans are not perfect, but they are much better than the alternatives! |
