If u think Taiwan is part of China because they have the same culture and same language, then how about America? America and England have the same language and culture also. And earlest Americans were came from the England too. So is America a part of England? y America can owned independence and Taiwan can't just because Taiwan is an island? Think about it!! Idea

firstly, i am a chinese, in my opinion, i agree that TAIWAN should be a part of china. it's not because we 've been educated patrioticly, but it's bucause historically TAIWAN was a part of china since the acient time. CHINESE mainland and Taiwan was closely related to each other, you can check the history book if you want. Mad

Dream on biotch. Taiwan is not part of China. we have our own government, national antheme, culture, economy, and military force.

I want you all to think about this. When a group of CHINESE, yes they are chinese and from China (I can not and will not deny that),came to Taiwan in the 1950's. They stayed here. Thier kids, grandchildren are now TAIWANESE. Why? THey live in the land where we call TAIWAN.

Another arguement I have is this. I am now a Canadian citizen, however I am proud to be taiwanese. As most Canadian and American know, their ancestor are from england, but when you ask them who they are, they will answer "I am Canadian or American" This is same issue as Taiwan, it's just that Canadian and American history goes back to the 1800, while Taiwan's history goes back to the mid 1900.

I am taiwnese and proud to be one. I will not deny that my great grandparents are from China. However, time has change. Drop your f*cking thoughts about the-Taiwan-is-Chinas-province bullsh!t, cause you know what? Taiwan ain't part of China. We are an independant country that has the economy to survive in this world

I support your viewpoint, mango_lover
but let's stop arguing this issue

Can we talk about Great Cultural Revolution in China(1966~1976)?
It has been 30 years since its ending. In Taiwan, some scholars are talking about this historical event.

sorry to interrupt, but i have to make one thing clear, that is histoically and practically speaking, Taiwan would never be independent. Befor you so-called Taiwanese people mention your hatred towards China, i think you should first of all compare these two places and you will find which one is more advanced and China is totally different from what you think it is about.

the world is always changing, we can't stop that. If people are happy with the government they have they should be allowed to keep it.
