Dear members,
I never know when an adjective ends in ant or ent. Or do they all end in ent in English? If not, is there a rule for that?
Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately, there are adjectives that end in "ent" and some that end in "ant," and I don't know of a good rule for telling which is going to be which.
Some examples of ANT:
pleasant
aberrant
vacant
deviant
Some examples of ENT:
recent
decent
potent
absent |
