i couldn't tell the better choice of the two.
2 After the new reform, the output of the paper mill is now _____ as it was in 2005.

Is there a definitive adjective to describe the word "output"? |

You were within an inch of life, and didn�t know it. If you pay attention to the tense of the second clause, you will know the past tense is the right one.
You have been within an inch of life. This one means that you are still within an inch of life.
2 After the new reform, the output of the paper mill is now four times as large as it was in 2005.
When you discribe the amount of uncountable stuff, 'large' is more often used than 'big'. |
