Hi, there.
Today I'd like to ask you about 'Why don't you ...?.
Look at the following dialogue.
A: Why don't you call her?
B: Sounds good.
Is this replay 'Sounds good' awkward or exaggerated?
What kinds of expressions are possible in answering 'Why don't you...?'
I'm waiting for your answers.
Thanks. |

I don't think 'sounds good' is ' awkward or exaggerated.
There are numerous ways to respond to the suggestion depending on the context. But I don't know what else had been said before the suggestion was made and therefore I can come up with only a few:
It is a good idea.
I will.
Why didn't I think of that? |
