Hello,
Can we say "put milk in a bowl"? I find it a bit strange because I think "put" is not often used with liquids.

Pour the milk into a bowl. Pour some milk into a bowl. Pour some of the milk into a bowl. [I change my spelling errors. It was perhaps a Freudian slip. Thank you, KazAV, for pointing it out for me.]
We are not talking about milk in general but the one in our possession.

Hi there.
You can pour milk into a bowl and put the bowl on the table. We usually say pour with liquids. As it is the milk you have, Pinenut is correct in saying that you would say pour THE milk into a bowl.
