This question is often asked at an interview: Whom would you save if your parents fell into the water--suppose you could save only one of them? I think I'll save my mother because she's the person who gave birth to me. She is the greatest woman in the world in my mind. What about your answer, my friends? |

I agree with you that mother is the most greatest woman in this world in every's child's mind. But I think father is also very important in our life. If there is no him, then there is no me in this world. So if I were faced with such a situation, I think I will save the one who is nearer to me. Maybe you will say this is a traditional answer, but it is indeed that there is no such a standard in my mind who is more important in my life. They are both important for me. |

Your parents are the most intimate relatives of you in the world. So we don't want to loose either of them. But if at that very urgent moment, you have to make a choice, it's really hard. In my opinion, in that urgent case, you don't have enough time to think about whom to rescue. The most important thing is that you choose either of them to save as quickly as possible, utter some words to encourage the other one. Then try your best to rescue the remain one. _________________ Smile Always Return Smiles. |

Of course I would save my mother first. Because if I saved my Dad, he would be angry with me for saving him and not my Mom! It may seem old-fashioned, but saving women and children first is still part of our culture of chivalry. _________________ "It is impossible to speak in such a way that you cannot be misunderstood." -- Karl Popper |
