| "celeb-o-sphere" isn't a real word, but it's based on scientific terms like biosphere (world of life), hydrosphere (world of water), ecosphere (world of nature/natural processes), atmosphere (world of vapor/air), lithosphere (wold of rocks) ... there are many of these, so celebosphere is a "hybrid" term for the world of celebrities (famous actors, models, athletes, musicians, wealthy businesspeople, or anyone who is celebrated in some way). The words celebrity / celebrities are often shortened to celeb / celebs, so the "celebosphere" refers to these celebrities and all the news agencies, reporters, photographers, and anyone else who interacts with celebrities or pays close attention to them. |
