1.I am more of a *guy's girl* than a girl's girl.
Does it have the connotation that I belong to a guy?

2.It was *a matter of seconds* that he could have been slammed by the door.
Am I using that right?

3.We will see to that=We will see about that?

Do they mean the same thing?

4.If I were to travel to a foreign country, I wouldn't bring my sis along. I wouldn't want to carry a *burden* with me.

What are other words for that?

Thanks

1. Means that you are the kind of girl who is liked more by men (guys) than girls. You may have many male friends, but few, or no,girl friends.

2. He was a matter of seconds away from being slammed (hit) by the door, sounds more natural.

3. We will see to that = We will attend to that, deal with it, do it.

We will see about that, usually means that you do not agree with something.

Person A..."I'm going to thrash you at tennis!"
Person B... " We'll see about that!"

4. I wouldn't want the responsibility (of looking after her)
I wouldn't want to be burdened with her.
I wouldn't want to be encumbered with her.
I wouldn't want her cramping my style.

You cramp someone's style if you get in their way. If you are a burden to them, or you interfere with their enjoyment of some event or occasion.

Being a "guy's girl" can also mean that you might dress and act more like a man than a woman--not wearing fancy dresses, excessive makeup, uncomfortable high-heeled shoes...
