Which of the following is correct? Or both?

worksmart:
Both sentences are correct, but have slightly different meanings.
"He did everything ON his laptop" means that he used the computer to do his work.
"He did everything WITH his laptop"means that he used the computer to do his work, but it could also imply that he took his computer with him wherever he went.
Good Luck!!! _________________ - Mike

I would like to make another comment on "with".
People did everything with a pencil and paper when computers were not available.
The preposition, with, is often used to refer to the tools used to do the job. |
