2. It will have stopped raining by tomorrow morining?
(Question)
Do #1 have the same meanings?
3. We will arrive at the lake by this time tomorrow.
4. We will have arrived at the lake by this time tomorrow.
Do #3 have the same meanings?

Konnichi wa.
Yes, actually both examples in both questions have the same
meanings. However...
One example from each question group sounds more natural.
These are more natural sounding"
"It will stop raining by tomorow morning"
"We will arrive at the lake by this time tomorrow".
The other examples are ok to use but kind of awkward.

I find "It will have stopped raining by tomorrow morning." to be natural too.
I'm sure it's difficult for students when we have different opinions, but it just shows the differences in the various types of English. |
