In expressions like these:

"The linked objectives of the Centre are to contribute to long-term economic competitiveness, attract new black and female talent and grow the indigenous engineering and technology knowledge base".

What is exactly the significance of the adjetive "linked"? Does it mean that the objectives are articulated?

The question may not sound interesting, but I'd love to have some help... there's this article and I'm supposed to translate it to Portuguese with as much accuracy as possible.

ClarisaMach:

To answer your question . . .

The word linked means that each of the 3 objectives is closely related and that by pursuing any one of the 3 objectives, the Centre logically should also follow the other 2 objectives.

Good Luck!!!!

Thanks a lot, Mike! I'll try to figure out a word in portuguese with the same impact of "linked".
