Dear all,
Which of the following sentenes is incorrect? I wonder if all of them are correct.
(a)I smell something cook in the kitchen.
(b)I smell something cooking in the kitchen.
(c)I smell something being cooked in the kitchen.
(d)I smell someone cooking in the kitchen.
(e)I smell someone cook in hte kitchen

No. A & E are definitely not right--B & C are, and D might be possible. |

| d - I smell someone cooking in the kitchen - is also not right. It is the cooking you can smell, not the person doing it. |
