By the time he had told his mom how badly his older brother had behaved, he almost forgot to tell her that a dog had passed on the other night.
By the time he had told his mom how badly his younger brother behaved, he almost forgot to tell her that her brother died in combat the other night.

Is there any problems with sequence of the tense ?

Thank you!

No problems I see in tense, it's all past tense so you're fine. Lol, the only problem I found was in your question at the bottom, "Is there any problems..." should be written "Are there any problems..." They both need to be plural. Otherwise it sounds fine, you're doing well.
