The USA is a rich country with many of the attribute of a scrappy, developing society.
Can I use the preposition " to " there ?
what does it mean " attribute of " in that sentence ?
Is it " possession " ? |

1) I would say attributes -- plural because you've said the US has many of them.
2) Of is the correct preposition; to does not work with attributes.
3) In this sentence, attributes means characteristics.
I hope that helps. |
