I came across this term:
'He is an heir of a rich man.'
Can 'an' be used here?
Thanks in advance. _________________ "I don't know what they will use in World War III. But in World War IV sticks and stones will be used." Albert Einstein

Hello Sidrao
Yes, that's fine: you can use "an" before a silent H, and the H in "heir" is silent.
