Hello, teachers.
Which one of each set is correct or more natural?
1. (a) a girl about your age
(b) a girl of about your age
2. (a) a girl of your age
(b) a girl your age
3. (a) a girl the same age as you
(b) a girl of the same age as you
As for the following sets, I think (a) is natural.
(b) is also acceptable?
4. (a) He wasn't a bit surprisedat the news.
(b) He wasn't surprised at the news a bit.
5. (a) He looks a great deal better.
(b) He looks better a great deal.
Thank you in advance!
Regards,

Junkomama,
Ok, here we go.
1. A
2. either one
3. A
4. see explanation below
5. A
You can say "He wasn't a bit surprised at the news".
But more correctly would be "He wasn't a bit surprised by the news".
I hope this helps.
