Are you in Germany for watching the World Cup?Which city are you in Germany now?

I went to Frankfu a few years ago and stayed downtown there for almost two weeks.I saw the Frankfu's stadium ,when they held soccer match ,the riot police were just outside the stadium and ready for any trouble.

Unfortunately,I didn't have the chance to visit the Germany 's capital Berlin, but I heared of a lot about it.

Germany renunited in 1990 after Gerlin Wall fell,Berlin became the nation's capital several years ago,now Berlin has more construction than any city in the world, after the WWT,rebuilding there soon began and accelerated after the Berlin Wall came down,Berlin built the Reichstag which has a huge dome on it,the dome rises more than 40 meter above the ground, staircase inside the building winds more than 200 meters to the top.

From the Reichstag, there is historic gate, this gate is only one of 14 gates in Berlin's old city wall still standing.A four-horse chariot driven by the Godness of Victory stands atop the gate.

The sculpture is the symbol of Berlin, for 25 years, the gate was the part of Berlin Wall which separated West and East Berlin. In the heart of former East Berlin, there is a boulevard which has thousands of big trees.Back then 1940s,the Hilter cut them down and replaced them with Nazi's flags, but the public raised such an outcry that the Hilter had to replant them .The trees are gettting taller year by year, now the boulevard fills with myriad of small cafe shop,it is best place to take a rest.

Although I am Brazilian, and I root for my country, I believe Germany is to win the World Cup....

We were very disappointed by that 1 X 0 against Croatia...

About Germany being reunited... well, I've just watched Die DDR lebt weiter(Goodbye, Lenin!) and, although it was classified as a comedy, I must say I found it very touchy. The idea of a divided country, a divided family, then reunited... and winning the 1990 World Cup... I must confess I almost cried. One of my favourite movies ever!
