It was a good finals because both contestant teams were neck to neck.
Is this sentence OK?
Thank you |

| The sentence sounds fine to me. Maybe the catch is in the singular article 'a' used with a plural 'finals', but 'finals' is singular in sense. |

In the U.S.A., we would say, "neck and neck," not "neck to neck," and we usually would say just "teams," not "contestant teams," unless there were some particular reason to do so. Still, the sentence sounds fine just as it is. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
