"In which case" is correct. It could also be "in which instance" or "in which circumstance," or something other than "case." The "in whose case" trips you up because of the implied legal case against Mr. Fitzgerald for murdering poor Mrs. Fitzgerald, but I can't think of a situation where you would say "in whose case" instead of "in which case" as presented in this sentence. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
