Hi,
Can someone explain this sentence for me?
"To gild and pottery, a paint is made with gold and applied with a brush"
The sentence sounds strange to me. I don't understand the part with "to gild and pottery" part. I thought "gild" is a verb (to spread gold on something) and "pottery" is a noun.
Thanks,

I think the "and" should be removed, because this is about gilding pottery.
I think it should be re-written as something like, "To gild pottery, use a brush to paint it with gold paint / with paint containing gold." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
