For me, "keep" of the following sentence seems strange. Is it correct?
---- the following --------
He made it clear that he did not want her to do any real work, only keep Mrs. Oliver happy while he found the jewels. |

It is fine. "Keep someone happy" is correct, meaning make someone stay happy. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
