I don't understand this sentence.

"Inside the language lies life;inside the language lies death"

I need someone's help, please.

Hello MrD

It's a little difficult to say, without more context; but it probably means:

1. Language has the potential to give life and to bring death.

In other words, you can use language to save someone's life, to command that someone be executed, etc.
