Can the two sentences as the following mean the same?
-------- the following -----------------
1. Your money is as good as gone.
2. Your money couldn't be better than gone.

No. "As good as" used that way is a way to say that, although your money may not be gone yet, it might as well be gone, implying that it will be gone soon.

"If I don't get that job, I'll be as good as dead."
"With that last goal, our team is as good as champion."

You would not say, "Your money couldn't be better than gone." Maybe someone else can explain why, but you just wouldn't say that.

You could say, "You gave Tim five bucks? Your money couldn't be more gone. He moved to Alaska!"
