Do we use the preposition "in" with the name of the seasons in this case?

"in my last summer"

You could use it that way sometimes, but not always.

"In my last summer of college, I had to take a course in music."

"This is my last summer before going to France."

"Last summer, I learned how to surf."

"This is the last summer I'll have to wear these sandals."
