no problem there.
you might hear the word "Witty" used more often in British english, but its not very common in American conversations. In fact someone might give you a strange look if you used that word in a conversation in america.

Well look at where I'm from, Lousiville Kentucky. Personally I was born, raised, and schooled in Chicago. If I were to use "witty" in Louisville I would get a strage look from a local "redneck".
