Hello,
Can we say "Exporting fruit to Country X was embarboed by Country Y's government."?
I think it's a bit strange. Can you help rephrase this sentence, please?

Use prohibited, rather than embargoed.
An embargo is an order by a State that forbids foreign ships from entering or leaving its ports. It is a much more serious impediment to commerce than the banning of a single item. |
