Here is a hypothetic situation
A: She has a scary laughter.
B:Oh, really?
A:Oh yeah, you really have to see her *in action*.
Is that used correctly?

I would edit the conversation to this:
A: She has very scary laughter. ["A laughter" is not used.]
B: Oh, really?
A: Oh, yeah. You really have to see her in action.
"In action" means something like "performing the action" or "actually doing it" in this context, and it would be natural to say in such a conversation. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
