Hi,
How should I punctuate "hello everyone"?
Hello, everyone.
Hello everyone.
Hello everyone! (I don't know why ! is used here, but I have seen it.)
Hello, Everyone.
Hello Everyone.
Hello Everyone!
When we make a presentation, is there any other non-time- specific greetings I can use?
Thank you,
Nawee |

"Hello, everyone" is just fine. You may add an exclamation point if you really want to make it look more enthusiastic, but in ordinary writing, the "banger" is rarely used.
For non-time-specific greetings, try:
Greetings, everyone.
Hello, everybody.
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen.
Good day, folks.
And combinations thereof. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
