Hello,
Can you read the following sentences and give an opinion regarding the word order?
a. present/express their ideas in a manner which is beautiful, realistic and interesting.
b. present/express their ideas in a beautiful, realistic and interesting manner
I find that with a. the sentence ends with the more "interesting" ideas, something that are important in that sentence. Is that so?
Thanks,
Nawee |

I prefer "that" to "which" in such constructions, so I would write it, ". . .express their ideas in a manner that is beautiful, realistic, and interesting."
If you want the sentence to stand out and give some emphasis to "interesting," try: ". . . express their ideas in a manner realistic but beautiful and interesting." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
