If I want to send a document on a fax, what should I say to the speaker on the phone?
Do the above sentence have something wrong? |

When you actually send the fax, you say nothing...
- insert the document to send, typically face down.
- on the keypad, enter the fax phone number you are sending to
- Press the "send" button"
- the machine will dial the phone# you entered, you will hear the
electronic "warbling" sound of the digital "handshake" making a
connection
- When the fax transmission is complete, there is usually a status code
displayed to indicate if the fax was sent successfully or if there was an
error. If an error occurred, there may be a prinout produced, so
ensure theat there is paper in the fax printer paper tray.
It's always nice to let the person you are sending a fax to know what your intentions are, that way they can expect to receive a fax. so, "I will fax that to you at 1 PM today" or "Look for my fax in 10 minutes!"
Hope that answered your question. |
